Kyle was born and raised in Evansville, Indiana. As the son of a trial
lawyer, his interest in trial work began at an early age, when he would
go to watch his father in trials. After graduating from Indiana University,
he followed up by obtaining his law degree from Indiana University Robert
H. McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis.
He has served our community as a deputy prosecutor in the Marion County
Prosecutor’s Office where he obtained great experience, trying major
felony cases, including murder, robbery, fraud, aggravated battery, and
burglary. After that, he spent time at a personal injury law firm in Indianapolis,
where he gained civil trial experience and learned the value of fighting
insurance companies to maximize the value of his client’s cases.
That brought him to Crossen Kooi Law.
Kyle was also recently named to The National Trial Lawyers’ Top
40 Under 40. He has handled cases state-wide, and has been admitted to
practice law by the Indiana Supreme Court, and the United States District
Courts for both the Southern and Northern Districts of Indiana.
Kyle has served as a Big Brother for the past seven years in Big Brothers
Big Sisters of Central Indiana. He enjoys playing and watching sports,
particularly Indiana University basketball. Kyle and his wife, Martha,
live in Carmel with their two children.
